Bangkok International Fashion Week ends tonight. The 19th edition, organized by Siam Paragon, Siam Center and Siam Discovery under the theme "TH-nomenal Extraordinary: Lead the Culture, Wear the Future," has run since Oct. 1. Its Grand Runway at Parc Paragon showed ten Thai designers and brands over four nights, and 27 FRIDAY closes it at 7pm with a collection called "Perfect is not Perfect."

MERGE showed on Oct. 9. It was the denim label's first time on the Grand Runway. Co-founder Jee Pornpavee Danmingyenwong told the organizer the collection would show "Creative Denim through a bold, confident, and free-spirited perspective," inspired by Thailand's seas.

The collection, "TROPICAL BLISS," was shown under the theme "TIDE OF TIME." According to bangkokbeat, MERGE kept denim at the center and worked in organdy and chiffon, plus details taken from the lines of fishing nets. The show was split into three moments of the day: first light, evening light and last light. Colors moved from light blue, cream and beige to darker night shades. Pop artist MARQUISE performed.

Actress Engfa Waraha walked in the show, AsianGL reported, citing official runway footage. The guest list bangkokbeat published also includes Mew Suppasit Jongcheveevat, Anchilee Scott-Kemmis and Cindy Bishop.
