Privacy policy

Newsletter emails

When you sign up for the newsletter, we collect your email address and the date you subscribed. It is stored in our database hosted by Supabase and used only to send the FindKizashi newsletter. We do not sell it or share it for advertising. Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link. To have your address deleted, email hello@findkizashi.com.

Analytics and hosting

We currently use no analytics integrations. If we introduce analytics, we will favour privacy-friendly measurement and explain the service and data it processes here before use. Hosting infrastructure may process technical request logs to deliver and maintain the site.

Commission links and retailer cookies

Links to partner retailers may include UTM parameters identifying FindKizashi, the referral channel and the story. Retailers may use cookies or other tracking to attribute purchases and calculate commissions. Their privacy and cookie policies govern activity on their websites.

Event submissions and email

The event form prepares a draft in your browser. It sends and stores nothing, and does not fetch or upload images. You choose whether to copy the draft or open an email to us. If you send an event submission, enquiry or correction by email, we use the details you provide to review the listing or respond. Only include information you want our editors to receive.

Theme preference

Your browser stores an explicit light or dark preference in localStorage under “kizashi-theme.” It stays on your device; clear site data to remove it.
